  1. Way is cleaner, clearer and more luminous--in all ways Ecstatic Sunshine’s best effort yet.
  2. These refreshing, calm experiments from Ecstatic Sunshine are, again, rewarding if you have the patience to allow them in.
  3. Though an admitted level back on the recent disco-drone of "Growing’s Lateral" and even their fantastic EP release of "Living" from last year, these noise troupers have set up a decent new stall.
  4. Way is a humble first step in what sounds like a glorious new trip, where the really well played guitar becomes something else entirely.

Some newcomers might find Ecstatic Sunshine's loops tedious, but brain-melting repetition is the point. [June 2008, p.108]
  6. This album will please a lot of people looking for a more “punk” twist on past minimalism, but while that’s great, my ears are on a search for something fresher.
