  1. We Are Young Money is like a microcosm of Wayne’s career: often frustrating, frequently brilliant, and thoroughly, lovably weird.
  2. In between appearances from Drake, Minaj, and Wayne-- who offers lukewarm verses and/or deranged-but-palatable Auto-Tune hooks on most tracks-- a slew of numbskulls, weirdos, and little kids sometimes make things interesting
  3. Don’t bother unless you can stand a healthy helping of sleaze, because this flashy party is for adult fan club members, the ones who don’t mind Wayne the show-off or Wayne the trashy smart-aleck.
  4. Being out of control is a hallmark of Wayne’s style and what’s made him impossible to ignore for the last two years. In this crew, only Minaj’s paying attention.
  5. His offbeat interpretations of tough-guy hip-hop cliches often make for great listening, but on We Are Young Money, Weezy decides that he can’t be bothered to display such originality.
  6. Money is pure bubblegum, the kind of instantly disposable pop ephemera listeners forget about while it’s still playing.
  7. It's inconsistent, veering from Drake (always solid, but distracted here) to very average MCs like Gudda Gudda. One bright spot is sassy newcomer Nicki Minaj.

'Bedrock' is an insanely hot track but really it is nothing more than a pig with lipstick. The rest of the singles are just pigs. Most of the'Bedrock' is an insanely hot track but really it is nothing more than a pig with lipstick. The rest of the singles are just pigs. Most of the MCs come across as unnecessarily overconfident and I found it hard not to switch tracks frequently. The beats are built for impact on the dancefloor and the 808s are great to nod your head to but unfortunately hard to enjoy. Sometimes I can't tell if I am listening to hip-hop anymore but I suppose that could be a good point as much as it could be a bad point. Some of Lil' Wayne's contributions are ridiculous at best and prove that he may be losing his marbles. It's not a coincidence that the most musical part of 'Bedrock' was a contribution by somebody (Lloyd) who is not in Young Money. 4/10 44/100 Expand

Young Money is worthless, loud, and obnoxious. Many of the songs don't appeal to audiences, not to mention all of them talking about f*ckingYoung Money is worthless, loud, and obnoxious. Many of the songs don't appeal to audiences, not to mention all of them talking about f*cking every girl that comes into their crosshairs (yes Nicki Minaj and that other Wh*re f*ck girls 2). Young Money is what we call a terribly organized group that decides to do one gig, get famous, and 4 years later people are wondering if this piece of sh*t will ever get back together. I've said my peace. Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Let me say this right now, only people I like in Young Money is Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne, Mack Maine, Drake & Tyga. Everybody else is trash pretty much. I think this is horrible in 3 ways: Lyrics, Beats, and Approach. Lyrics: If any rapper that is not really a good rapper and have iffy lyrics, it's Lil Wayne. I only wish they had more talent, or brought Rick Ross or Nas or somebody else on this album. Beats: Drake's producer 40 and maybe Lex Luger and Jahil Beats will make this album PERFECT. They used bad producers like Chase N' Cashe, Kane Beatz, and Tha Bizzness. Cool & Dre where the only decent producers. Approach: Bedrock was not the right song to put out for a single of a Label album, they should of put out Pass the Dutch for a single. This was a horrible album. Expand
