    What makes this album so great is Statik’s ability to coagulate the old with the new.

    While the compilation deejay/producer album tends to have it’s share of woes as too many cooks spoil the broth, Statik Selektah balances out this tendency with solid production that invokes images of the days of Hip Hop yore.

    This album is miles better than "Extended Play". Statik Selektah brings great production with a great use of jazz and soul production. AThis album is miles better than "Extended Play". This is a great album and definitely a contender for one of the best albums of the year so far. Expand
