Very forgettable. Very disappointed. She seems to have lost her edge. Boring.

This is awesome !! She is a great poet and 'America' clearly portrays the situation in America during the hurricanes (Katrina and New Orleans). This lady is a legend, she is my heroine.

This is her best since her debut, I'm her biggest fan. So much soul and talent I could burst. Shut up if you don't like it!

I really wish I liked it more. Perhaps because "Change" is such a bliss, the rest of the album falls a little flat. With the exception of "Never Yours" - a truly great song where she sings - beautifully: "Say I'm a saint of mercy, say I'm a whore..." She's unique, really. Strong yet fragile, harsh yet warm. It's always nice to see her around. Welcome back, Tracy.

Just as good as the other 7 - if not slightly better!

Tracy Chapman é uma das cantoras mais simples e incríveis da indústria musical. Sempre com o mesmo estilo 'acústico', com letras profundas e pessoais.

  1. Where You Live is yet another elegant and easy album from Chapman, just the kind her fan base has come to expect.
  2. Billboard

The album distinguishes itself from Chapman's previous releases with its stellar studio band and its refusal to submit to pop production. [17 Sep 2005]
  3. Chapman is an eloquent lyricist with a strong social conscience, but she's also a superb songwriter and musician and Where You Live contains several instances of low key beauty.
