Fans already won over by Egypt Central's previous record will recognize the band's original sound here, and new listeners will be taken a wild ride to a strange, dark wonderland and back. Follow the White Rabbit.

Although the musicians ... play often furious hard rock, the mix allows a few of singer John Falls' lyrics to be lost.

One of only a few albums I absolutely love listening to over and over that I enjoy every single song equally, with each one being a favorite. One of only a few albums I absolutely love listening to over and over that I enjoy every single song equally, with each one being a favorite. Blending a strong mix of hard rock (Ghost Town, Kick Ass, Surrender), a little bit of punk (Blame), a softer side (Backfire, Change, Goodnight), and a darker side (The Drug), the album flows absolutely perfectly. Lyrically diverse and powerful as well, ranging from topics such as Alice In Wonderland and allowing history to repeat itself/defiance (White Rabbit), addiction and suicide (The Drug), Heaven and Hell, consumerism, lack of individualism and self-independence (Down In Flames), abusive relationships, self-empowerment and finding inner strength (Dying To Leave), and fighting inner demons, depression and isolation (Backfire). This album took all of the elements that made their self-titled debut album great, improved on them quite a lot, and then removed the imperfections, all to create one of the best records I've ever heard. A relatable, heavy, flowing album, this one needs to be listened to over and over! Expand
