It's not often to encounter music this conceptually sophisticated and well executed that also, in its most secret depths, simply hates you.

This creative group of misanthropes have emerged a devastating proposition.

Grueling and utterly uncompromising, Widowmaker is a gift to humanity from a band that despises it. [17 Nov 2012, p.53]

The opener, "Part 1", is entirely dedicated to building tension and establishing the theme of the album and is by no means boring. "Part 2" and "Part 3" are two of the heaviest, most cathartic songs I have heard, and achieve (in conjunction with their predecessor) a magnificently hateful and dark atmosphere that the listener paradoxically revels in. Fantastic album by an awesome band, absolutely deserves a listen Full Review »
