While much of the record sounds like the Rolling Stones if they'd grown up as LA punks instead of English art students. Superb. [27 Aug 2011, p.52]

Like every true outlaw before them, The Icarus Line haven't mellowed with age; they've gotten gnarlier.

Wildlife rocks like rock still truly matter and isn't just so much mp3 content.
  4. Sep 28, 2011
Wildlife has the feel of both a consolidation and an introduction, as the band runs every permutation of the underground guitar rock it loves through the ringer of singer Joe Cardamone's singular vision.

This is a very well-made album; heads will nod and feet will tap. But it doesn't capture that molten energy that the Icarus Line have been capable of in the past, and as such falls short of greatness
