    What i think is wonderful about Wolf, is that for me, he cannot be compared to - you could split all the threads that are the weave of the song to attatch bjork, cave or buckley to - but by that process you loose the raw essence of his music. He is one of the first artists of recent times who sounds almost, dare i say, origional.

    In 2005, only two albums were released that are as good as Wind In The Wires, ie Rufus Wainwright's Want Two and Antony's I Am A Bird Now. GORGEOUS STUFF!

    One of the most intriguing new records of the year. I agree with a lot of the records... this is what Digital Ash could've been if Conor was less ego-driven and had more inspiration. I love the organic/electro fusion.

    Bloody brilliant. Makes you want to travel across Europe until you find a nice cottage next to a windmill in the middle of a wind ravaged moor where youll find neither peace nor beauty -- but youll be drawn in all the same because its where you belong.

    Patrick Wolf has released one of the best records I'll buy this year. I'm entirely capitivated each time I spin this, and I'm quite sure I'll continue to be. The songwriting is exceptional, and the arrangements are incredibly sophisticated. A wonderful album.
