Those who shudder at the thought of a Dawson's Creek soundtrack should steer well clear, but loved-up fans of good old-fashioned singer/songwriter pop will find plenty to enjoy here.

Where lyrics are concerned, be prepared for plenty of eye rolling (or eye gouging).

Anyone who remembers artist's previous efforts may be slightly disappointed. Thomas certainly has a great voice, which she can respectively modulate - in particular it can be heard in subdued, folk compositions such as "2 Birds", "Really Long Year", or lethargic "Sometimes Love". However, already in these works you can pick some artists's attempts of experimenting with indie folk, which is exemplified by quite successful and interestingly arranged songs like: "Where Was I" or "Over The Moon". The album is a decent project, perhaps it's time for change and replace Thomas in the folk version to a slightly more accessible to a wider audience? Full Review »
