At times, there's the sense Tyler's charisma outweighs his content. the album's a little too long, in terms of there being quite a few "filler" tracks. The best tracks are not all that great, either.

While some consider this Tyler's best album, I would wholeheartedly have to disagree. I'm not sure if it's just me who has this problem, but I find this album very forgettable. I couldn't tell you any lyrics if you asked me to, maybe apart from the beginning of awkward. Not a bad record, just forgettable.

Tyler's 3º Studio Album was in general good.
This album shows that Tyler has matured and grown up since Goblin.
Not only his maturity but also his music has evolved.
In this album there are some skips that I will not mention for my own sake.
In general this album is a pretty strong 7 almost a 8.

This review can have some grammatical errors as English is not my first language.

With this album, Tyler shifts from its radical hard bits style to more smooth rap and it is beautiful. Still, there is a lot of music that will love people who liked Bastard and Goblin.
Wolf, Domo23, Cowboy - are kind of classic for me

One of Tyler's greatest albums, and the honest midway point between the new and old Tyler. Wolf is an emotional story about dealing with change and loss and coming to terms with feelings. Wolf is an emotional story about dealing with change and loss and coming to terms with feelings. Opening with the absolutely beautiful piano in WOLF, Tyler immediately sets the stage for the beginning of this Summer camp story. Every track on this album is wonderfully executed and shows just how much talent and effort Tyler is putting into the work he does. I wanted to take time to talk about my absolute favorite tracks, starting with Answer. Answer is Tyler at a very personal and emotional moment, talking about wanting to call the people he has lost or never even had contact with, letting things off of his chest as he lays out a wonderful set of bars.

Colossus is Tyler's Stan, and it's a shame that it doesn't have as much attention as it should get. It directly shows the type of toxic fan that society is unfortunately filled with and how they have little care for the actual person and only care for the person in their mind.

IFHY is the most recognizable track from this album and for good reason, as it is by far the best produced and sounding track on the album. Tyler's mask being burnt away for the first time since his beginning, melting away and revealing the true feelings beneath him as he finally realizes what love is and coming to accept these feelings.

To finish the album we have the track Lone, which ends the album on a somber note talking about how Tyler has achieved so much but is still coping with the passing of his grandmother. Wolf will always be a beautiful album and is incredibly deep moment in Tyler's discography and I will always recommend it, even if it is just shy of absolute perfection, it is an unforgettable entry that will last for years to come.

Until now, the piano that appears in the first song of this album reverberates throughout my head. What can I say? The story that draws you in, the videos, the music... amazing. To this day, I still have a problem between choosing Igor and Wolf as the best album in my list. Wolf is really a very good album.

One of Tyler's best albums, but even if it has so many tracks (17) it is at some points inconistent and many tracks are bad and too long.
Overal, it's worth the listen and if you want to get into Tyler, The Creator, you must listen it.

No skips, best album with a good storytelling and side story. Tamale breaks everything just to make some chaos. The best album ever made by Tyler.

I didn't know what to expect diving into this one, I had heard 0 of the tracks from it, and had only heard Flower Boy and Igor prior (Which I both love btw), but I figured I'd give it a try as I had heard it was his 3rd best album. I loved a lot of the production, didn't really get the story though, could've done without all of the skits though. Probably the most offputing thing about this record is the use of "F****t" in almost every song, which I didn't really like, but in the light of today's Tyler, I guess it is acceptable?

Tyler has shown us with Wolf that he has really changed musically. With the cloudy and somewhat peaceful production, Tyler proves he can be creative and can do more than just be edgy and loud.

Great album, but not without it's weak points. There's a few tracks that bring the album down from easily being a ten and unfortunately one of the is one of the longest songs. The album is also a few tracks too long but, most of the tracks really display Tyler's capabilities as an artist.

Wolf is a part of the story Tyler creates through Bastard, Goblin, and now Wolf. In Wolf, Tyler steps away from shock value lines and starts to really focus on just making music. The lyrics are fantastic and Tyler up keeps his unique and great production. The album is littered with bangers and great tracks.

I like this album, it's tylers most complete album yet with a good mix of harder and softer music. But albums like WOLF aren't meant to be analyzed they aren't artistic I am sure there are people who are going to hate this album but that's the point. Tylers music isn't for everyone

I would have to say that Tyler is a good example of supply and demand. He is how a person with nominal talent can use profanity, publish nonsense ridden album covers, take random pictures of vulgarity and still draw a crowd. The only reason his net worth is $6 million is because he draws the disposable income crowd. Those that can spend their money on anything they want.

Also, who broke out the old english dictionary to write the reviews. Come on people, tell it like it is, Tyler needs to drop the finger, clean up his mouth then think about music.

With that in mind I give him a "zero" until he cleans himself up.

Wolf is without a question, Tyler's best album/mixtape he has ever put out. First off, the production in this album is amazing and second, Tyler drops some of his best bars on this album. Favorite songs are Rusty, answer, 48, and wolf

This album is a dream, it is a play. There is little more of substance which can capture what 'Wolf' is about: it truly is something that must be experienced for one's self at-full, even if there are parts of it one does not enjoy. It did not reach the creative heights that 'Bastard' did, but it is still phenomenal.

Better than Goblin, but I still not feeling Tyler rhymes. I really love the tracks "Jamba", "AwKWard", "48" and "Threehome95" (a possible Erykah Badu solo song).

I liked Wolf. It had good verses, good beats, and good tracks all together. Just the thing that kind of disappointed me was that it didn't have that Dark Flare that made up Bastard and Goblin. And, the subjects of the verses start to kind of get repetitive but, overall, it was a good album.

This may be a little late, but the fact that I have listened to it since it released shows something. This has to be my favorite rap album of all time. It saved my life, and I cannot give an album a greater title

It's complex, conflicted, and bipolar. Paranoid, even. Most of all, it reveals the harmless and empathetic character behind Tyler, the Creator's complicated persona.

He just keeps getting better at writhing around in this narrow space of homage and usually lands somewhere just between endearing and brilliant. [May 2013, p.67]

Wolf’s production features a more textured and subtle sound than we’ve ever heard before.
