    Although the album "Yesterday Was Lost And Lived" may take fancy - mainly through a very interesting combination of electronic elements with indie rock and pop insertions, nevertheless the con are unmistakable vocals of an artist who obviously spoils the whole effect - which can be seen even after the "Medication". Fortunately in most compositions such as "Miranda, Be My Guide" and "MiseryAlthough the album "Yesterday Was Lost And Lived" may take fancy - mainly through a very interesting combination of electronic elements with indie rock and pop insertions, nevertheless the con are unmistakable vocals of an artist who obviously spoils the whole effect - which can be seen even after the "Medication".     Much more than a stop-gap substitute that will be forgotten by the time the next Hot Chip full-length comes along; Yesterday stands on its own terms as one of the finest dance/electro-pop records of the year.

    It's an encyclopedia of rhythmic assimilation, perfectly executed, nary a lovingly adopted concept out of place. Catchy as hell, too.
