Guitar pop at its most ecstatic. [Apr 2006, p.113]
  3. Some of the sonic twists and turns that Delays pull on You See Colours--the multi-tracked vocals, the airy guitars, the pulsing synths--are jaw-dropping.
  4. Nothing is filler, per se, but some of the more trad Britpop numbers are a bit of a comedown between the obvious standouts.
  5. While debut album 'Faded Seaside Glamour' suffered from a mild dose of ADD, sprawling and meandering into atmospheric noodling between its smatter of acid-in-your-candyfloss pop hits, with 'You See Colours' Gilbert has sharpened his pop stiletto blade.

The band's trademark guitars [are] so polished you can almost whiff the Mr Sheen. [Apr 2006, p.98]
  7. Everything’s well executed, but nothing sinks in; it’s all surface, no feeling.

Brilliant Pop music, sticky melodies, a charming sound, and the best masculine high-pitched that I have listened in a lot of time

Don't like it as much as FAded Seaside Glory, but it's still a decent disc.
