As a rough cut solo exercise, Rhys has delivered a blinder. [Feb 2005, p.102]
  2. And if the production is not as sumptuous as a Furry’s album – although it’s by no means lo-fi – thematically it’s business as usual.
  3. All Yr Atal Genhedlaeth lacks is the unifying ambition of the great SFA records.
  4. Understated, ramshackle garage-pop treats. [22 Jan 2005, p.51]

it's one of the bestest album that has been released this year. I've listened to love kraft and I must say gruff's solo output pleases me more! a record to buy and cherish. Expand

Around 28 minutes long, I'd say I could play this album five times a day and not get sick of it. At first, it errs a little on the underwhelming side, but repeated listens reveal an AWESOME album, worthy of Gruff Rhys's name. I imagine the only thing that'll make me forget this album's release is the upcoming Super Furry Animals album. Expand
