Pure genius. A little top heavy, but still worth at least an 85.

The album's eight supple, textured tunes suggest Cornelius stripped of his art-jazz awkwardness, or even the molten sugar rush of My Bloody Valentine slowed to a beatific calm. [Nov 2002, p.128]

It's as if Steve Miller and the Beach Boys got together, sacked the session players and sang over breakbeats and a thicket of digital clicks and clacks. [#56, p.105]
  3. There is certainly no doubt about Dresselhaus' knack for the keystroke. He takes pins and needles of sound and builds rather interesting fields. But it's the additional elements that he drags into each track that end up running him in circles.
