Adam Scott

Biography: Appearing in dozens of movies and television shows, American actor comedian Adam Scott is one of those familiar faces that you just can't quite put a finger on. On television, he is best known as Griff Hawkins on the ABC 90's family comedy Boy Meets World and Josh Macon on the family drama Party of Five during his early years as an actor. Scott is also known as Henry Pollard on Starz' comedy series Party Down and as Palek on HBO's relationship drama Tell Me You Love Me.

After graduating from Harbor High School in Santa Cruz, California, Adam attended the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Los Angeles. Since his movie debut in Cityscrapes: Los Angeles in 1994, he has appeared in numerous films including Hellraiser: Bloodline (1996), High Crimes (2002), Torque (2004), The Aviator (2004), Monster-in-Law (2005), and Knocked Up (2007). Adam has also guest-starred in popular television series, Veronica Mars, Six Feet Under, CSI: Miami, and Law & Order. In 2007, Scott played dysfunctional husband to Sonya Walger's character on HBO's provocative drama series on intimacy, Tell Me You Love Me, which lasted for only one season. Adam then got the role of a struggling actor working for a catering team led by Ken Marino on Party Down, which premiered in 2009.
