When Adrien won best actor at the 75th Annual Academy Awards, he gave a very tearful acceptance speech and acknowledged his good friend and neighbor who was off fighting the War in Iraq. His speech was the longest speech of the night. He even had to shush the orchestra for trying to cue him that his time was up. He received an applause from the audience for doing that.
