Biography: Alex Winter was born in London to two modern dancers, and himself received dance training as a child.He took his first major film role, in the cult vampire movie The Lost Boys in 1987 . In 1989 he recieved his big break though starring as one half of the aid head duo in the time travelling comedy Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure. The film was a huge success and Alex reprised his role in the well desereved sequal and later on the animated series. In 1993, Winter co-wrote, co-directed, and starred in the outrageous, critically praised comedy Freaked (1993).. In 1999, he wrote and directed the critically acclaimed thriller Fever (1999), which made its debut at the Cannes Film Festival.He currently lives in New York and directs commericals and music videos.
