Ben Roethlisberger

Biography: Drafted No. 11 overall in the 2004 NFL Draft by the Pittsburgh Steelers from the University of Miami (Ohio), Roethlisberger set an NFL record by going 13-0 as a rookie starter. "Big Ben," as he is often referred to because of his size, was also named the NFL's Offensive Rookie of the Year in 2004, and led the Steelers to the AFC Championship game in that same year. Roethlisberger opted out of his senior season at Miami (Ohio) to enter the NFL Draft, and most experts agree that was the right call, as he, unlike many other rookie quarterbacks, was ready to lead his team to his playoffs in just his first year out of college.

In just his second season, Ben led the Pittsburgh Steelers to play in the Super Bowl. He is the first quarterback since the 1970 NFL merger to make the championship game each of his first two years.
