Bill Rafferty

Biography: He started his acting career in 1977 with Laugh-in. He appeared for only one episode. Starting with 1979 and ending in 1984 he was with Real People. In 1980 he was the host of Mating and Dating in the 80s. Starting in the fall of 1984 ending in the fall of 1985, he hosted his first game show by the name "Every Second Counts". Starting in the fall of 1986 and ending in fall of 1987 he was the host of Card Sharks which aired in syndication. This was his second game show that he hosted. Starting on January 5, 1987 and ending on May 1 of that same year he was the host of Blockbusters which aired on NBC. This was his third and final game show. In 1994 he was in the movie Above the Rim. In 1997 he was in the movie Mad City. His last known appearance with the movies or on television other than re-runs was in 1999 when he was on Nash Bridges.
