Blondie is an American rock band that gained fame in late 1970s. The band first broke up in 1982, but since it's reputation grew after that, the band was reformed in 1998.
Blondie's lineup wasn't always the same. In early years in the band were Deborah Harry, Chris Stein, Clem Burke, Jimmy Destri and Gary Valentine. After they gave name to their band in 1975, they became regulars at New York's Club 51, CBGB and Max's Kansas City. New members entered the band then, As Gary was replaced by Nigel Harrison and another guitarist Frank Infante was added.
Blondie released many albums in the following years and from every album there was some single that would usually reach UK charts, but the singles wouldn't have that success on the US charts. When the band was reformed in 1998, Infante and Harrison weren't in the band no longer, and Jimmy Destri left the band in 2006. Leigh Fox, Paul Carbonara and Kevin Patrick joined the band and the band's name didn't change, so they are still known as Blondie.… Expand
