Chris Carter

Biography: Chris Carter was born in Bellflower, California on October 13, 1956. Is is a producer and best known as the creator the "The X Files." He went to California State University, and majored in journalism. He graduated in 1979. His parents are William and Catherine Carter. After creating and production "The X-Files" in 1993, Chris Carter started a production company called Ten Thirteen Productions. It is named after his own birthday (10/13/56.)
The company produced 201 episodes of "The X Files," 67 episodes of "Millennium," 9 episodes of "Harsh Relm," 13 episodes of "The Lone Gunman," and the feature film "The X Files: Fight the Future." During that time, Ten Thirteen offices were located in Century City, Los Angeles, California. After the final episode of "The X Files" in 2002, the company shut down. Before going into producing, Chris Carter was a writer for a magazine company.
