Colm O'Maonlai

Biography: Dublin-born Colm is the second son of Eithne and Sean, younger brother of Hothouse Flowers lead singer, Liam O'Maonlai. He is a talent musician and fluent Irish speaker.
Colm did a theatre course at Dublin's Trinity College before joining Shane MacGowan and the Popes, he played the tin whistle on the album, The Snake. Colm can also play drums - kit and percussion- and an effort on the guitar!
He was spotted in a cafe by the film director, Marcus Thompson who offered him the lead role in the film "The Changeling" along with Ian Dury and Billy Connolly. Colm has appeared in several films, primarily in Ireland, and was also in the popular series, Ros na Run on TG4. He did vocals on Waking Ned. In April 2002 Colm joined the cast of Eastenders, playing the cheeky Irish charmer, Tom Banks. He left the show in November 2002 when his character was killed in a house fire. Post Eastenders Colm will be in the film "A Place To Stay" which was shot in Wiltshire in 2001 and is based on
