Corey Parker Robinson

Biography: Corey began his acting career on stage and was offered his first TV role on New York Undercover after being spotted in a play. He appeared in two episodes of ER as a teenager who was mentored by Dr. Carter. He then played college student, Remy Boudreau, in the soap opera Guiding Light. He met The Wire co-creator, David Simon, on the set of The Corner in which he played R.C. His The Wire character, Detective Leander Sydnor, went through a major transformation in the series.

In May 2008, Corey narrated A Lincoln Portrait, an orchestral composition by American composer, Aaron Copland. It took place at the Kennedy Center and Corey worked with conductor Leonard Slatkin and the National Symphony Orchestra.
