Dan Futterman

Biography: Dan was born in Maryland on June 8, 1967 and raised in Westchester, New York. Dan attended Columbia University, and graduated with a degree in English. He chose not to attend graduate school, instead deciding to follow an acting career.
Dan's film debut was a small role in The Fisher King. Since this initial film role, he has appeared in many other films including Shooting Fish and Urbania. Dan has not limited himself to film roles, he has also performed on the stage in plays such as Angels in America and Dealer's Choice.
In 1999 Dan took a role in the television series Judging Amy. This role took him through to 2002, when he left the cast to pursue his film career.

Dan married Anya Epstein on September 23, 2000 and together they have two children.
