Dave Hackel

Biography: Dave Hackel served as executive producer at "Wings" when David Angell, Peter Casey and David Lee created "Frasier".

Dave Hackel joined "Frasier" at the beginning of the hit sitcom's second season writing his first and only episode of the show entitled "The Unkindest Cut of All" and he would also serve as a creative consultant until he briefly left "Frasier" to create the short lived sitcom "The Pursuit of Happiness", starring Brad Garrett, where the three creators of "Frasier" helped develop the sitcom and also served as executive producers with Hackel.

After the failure of "The Pursuit of Happiness" Hackel returned to "Frasier" to serve as creative consultant until he left in 1998 to set up his own production company, which produced the CBS hit sitcom "Becker", starring Ted Danson.
