Biography: Dorien Wilson stars as Professor Oglevee, the smart, handsome teacher at Santa Monica Junior College who is the object of unrequited (or is it?) love from Nikki Parker (Mo'Nique) on the hit comedy series THE PARKERS, returning to UPN on Mondays at 9:00 p.m. (ET/PT). THE PARKERS remains the number one show in all of television in African-American households. The series is produced by Saradipity Productions in association with Big Ticket Television, a Paramount/Viacom Company.
Wilson is perhaps best known for his comic turn on HBO's "Dream On," as the smooth-talking, womanizing talk show host Eddie Charles, a role for which he received a Cable ACE Award nomination. Other television credits include starring as Franklin Goode in UPN's "Goode Behavior" with Sherman Hemsley and recurring roles on "Living Single," "Friends," "The Steve Harvey Show" and "Sister, Sister." He has guest starred on "Seinfeld," "Moesha," "Friends," "The Fresh Prince of Bel Air," and "Martin."

Recently, Wilson co-starred with the musical group IMX in the film "House Party 4: Down to the Last Minute," and with Judge Reinhold and Julia Sweeney in "Beethoven's 4th."
A native of Lompoc, California, Wilson attended the advanced training program at the Pacific Conservatory of Performing Arts in Santa Maria, California, where he performed in such plays as "Hank Williams: King of Country Music," "Carousel," "Billy Budd," and "Keepsakes." He also studied at the prestigious American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco.
Beyond film and television, Wilson has been a recurring host on "Soul Train" and recently co-hosted the distinguished NAACP 2000 ACT SO Awards. The ACT SO Awards honor 1,000 gifted African-American high school students nationwide who excel in the performing and visual arts.
Wilson has two children and resides in Los Angeles.
