Enzo Stuarti

Biography: Italian tenor Enzo Stuarti immigrated to the United States in 1934 and served in the Merchant Marines during World War II. Following the end of the War, Enzo continued his theater and musical career with a role in the Broadway show Hollywood Pinafore, his beautiful tenor voice garned him much acclaim and soon he was cast in the Cole Porter-Orson Welles musical Around the World in Eighty Days as Passepartout. Enzo appeared on television programs such as The Voice of Firestone, NBC Opera, Dupont Show of the Week, Hollywood Palace and The Ed Sullivan Show as well as several talk-variety shows. He also continued to work on Broadway in plays like Kiss Me Kate (1968), In the 1970's Enzo appeared in the Ragu Spaghetti Sauce commercial with his catchphrase "That's a nice a sauce!"
