Biography: Garwin Sanford was born Truro, Nova Scotia. He became a fan of science fiction at a very young age when he got hooked on the Relief series of books by Keith Laurner and went on with works by others such noted authors like Theodore Sturgeon, Arthur C. Clarke and Isaac Asimov. He began his acting career with an appearance in the Bryan Adams' music video for "Reckless". Although he has appeared in a number of films, he is most recognizable for his television appearances, which include show such as Stargate SG-1, 21 Jump Street, Street Legal, The Odyssey and Supernatural.
