Although Jaime King has a masculine sounding first name, she is certainly a female, I can assure you that. Her beauty at her young age led her into modeling. She was only 14 when a New York modeling agency discovered her in a graduation fashion show in Nebraska. King's picture had appeared in Vogue, Glamour, Allure, Harper's Bazaar, and Mademoiselle before she's even 17.
However, her career was also filled with addiction to alcohol and drugs, especially heroin. She was dating a photographer, David Sorrenti, and when Sorrenti died of drug overdose in 1997, King decided to remain drug-free for the rest of her life.
King made her first acting appearence in the film, Four Faces of God in 1999. Two years latter, she landed roles in Blow and the blockbuster, Pearl Harbor.
