Biography: At the age of three, Jamai's unique ability to recite all 50 states and capitals gained her parent's attention that, this was a gifted child. That year, Jamai began her performance career by introducing her father on stage, in front of a captivated and astounded audience of 500. Her natural ability to perform, launched her acting career with several national commercials and appearances on the hit shows, ER and Strong Medicine. Since then, Jamai has also been featured in two film shorts. A Dreamed Deferred, by Troy Ransome and Time Out, directed by Xelinda Yancy and executive produced by John Singleton.

Recently, Jamai landed a starring role in Nick at Nite's 2004 animated series Fatherhood. The new series is based on a book by Bill cosby, who is the show's executive producer. Now at age eight, Jamai has also teamed up with her very talented younger brother, Jaishon appearing on Steve Harvey's Big Time, as film critics in the original sketch: Kid's Review with Your host Mai & Jai. Jamai and Jaishon review films, fashion, food and fun places for kids. "Strictly from a kid's point of view," Mai and Jai let thier audience know what fun things receive their signature "Holla" and what things are doomed to be set on "Blast."
