Jamiroquai

Biography: Jamiroquai formed in 1992, with the release of When You Gonna Learn on the Acid Jazz label. They then signed an 8 album deal with the SonyS2 Label (Now Sony / BMG). The Band itself is made up of JK – the front man, and has had various musicians through-out it’s 13 year history. They started as an Acid Jazz band, and have continued with a funk rhythm through-out their career. Their first album was Emergency on Planet Earth released in 1993. In 1994 They followed up with the superb Return of the Space Cowboy. 1997 saw the release of their third album Travelling Without Moving which contained the critically acclaimed song Virtual Insanity. In 1998 Synkronized was released which contained the song Deeper Underground from the blockbuster movie Godzilla In 2001 after JK found his personal life constantly on the front pages he released the song Little L and the album A Funk Odyssey soon followed. After a number of years out of the spotlight Jamiroquai released Dynamite in 2005, and now in 2006 Jamiroquai are releasing High Times - Singles 1992-2006 - their greatest hits album.
