John D'Aquino

Biography: The first time his Italian immigrant father heard that John wanted to be in a play, he was not pleased. To his father, "play" was the opposite of work! John has "played" and worked his way beyond the stage and into your television sets since the mid-eighties. With five series under his belt, multiple recurring roles on others and having been the guest on some of America's top-rated shows, John has finally arrived at that distinguished place amongst the fans. Almost every day, some stranger will approach him and ask, "Are you somebody?" Off guard, John replies, "I believe I am." The stranger persists, "What have I seen you in?" At which point, John politely recites his list of credits, certain that the first three will suffice. "J.A.G., SEINFELD, 3RD ROCK FROM THE SUN?" The stranger's

"J.A.G., SEINFELD, 3RD ROCK FROM THE SUN?" The stranger's eyes light up then says, "No, what else?" John continues,""Uhhh… THAT'S MY BUSH, SLIDERS, MURDER SHE WROTE?" "Unh, unh," the stranger protests, "Name some more." "John sheepishly continues, "SEAQUEST, MAGNUM P.I., MATLOCK?" The stranger tosses over his shoulder as he walks away,""Nah…I must thinking about somebody else." Such is the life of the everyday working actor.

John, recently married, currently recurs on J.A.G. for CBS and will Guest Star on OLIVER BEENE, this season for FOX. John is also a writer and teacher.
Formerly a "Big Brother" here in Los Angeles, John is currently an Ambassador for CHILDHELP USA and works closely with Tom Sullivan's Blind Children's Foundation.\
