Katie Boland

Biography: At the age of 19, Katie Boland is one of the most promising young actresses of today. She is showcased in a starring role in the CBS mini-series Salem Witch Trials to be aired in May 2003, working alongside Peter Ustinov, Henry Czerny, Kirstie Alley and Shirley MacLaine. Born in Toronto on Valentine\'s Day in 1988, and named after Kate Hepburn, the brown-eyed Katie has had show business in her blood since an early age. She has been acting professionally since she was nine years old, and has starred in two television series, many MOW\'s and films. Boland began performing when she was seven with a theatre group Theatricks. When she was nine she got her first professional acting gig in a mini-series The Third Twin. She won critical acclaim for her lead roles in the BBC/PBS series Noddy, and in two seasons of Zack Files for Fox Family and YTV. She was a guest star in the Disney Series In A Heartbeat. Her numerous television roles includes TV movies One True Love, God\'s New Plan, No Further Questions and mini-series The Third Twin, Guilty Hearts, and Salem Witch Trials. Her films include Striking Poses, The Life Before This, Precious, and most recently Guest Room.
