Biography:
Ken Stott was born 1955, to a Scottish father and Sicilian mother. He has a strong connection to both sides of his family, playing the bagpipes and having a holidy home in the Umbrian area of Italy. His father was the Head of English at Ken's school, George Heriot's School.
He started his career in the Theatre, before first coming to the attention of Television audiences in the award-winning Taking Over The Asylum, followed by The Vice, Messiah and Rebus.
Ken has a a son, Bill (b. 1984) with Elizabeth (a screen director), his first wife, and had a long term relationship with actress Di Sherlock.
