Lana Cantrell

Biography: Lana Cantrell was born into a musical family, her father was a Jazz musician. When Lana came to the United States she got her first job at the Playboy Club in New Orleans and was on the Playboy club circuit for 18 months. She opened for comedian Jack E. Leonard at New York's Copacabana and soon gained the reputation of the "Aussie Streisand" which brought guest appearances on television programs The Ed Sullivan Show, The Red Skelton Show, The Dean Martin Show, Hollywood Palace, The Jonathan Winters Show, Kraft Music Hall, Spotlight and The Tonight Show starring Johnny Carson. Lana continued releasing albums and performing throughout the 70's around the world.
