Marshall Bell

Biography: Marshall Bell is an actor who is well-known for taking on character roles in TV and feature films. He was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on September 28, 1942. After being expelled from boarding school in 1955, he began to take an interest in drama while attending public high school. Bell went to college and entered the Army, and he started working as a business consultant after leaving military service. His film debut came at age of 38, playing a minor role in the film Birdy in 1984, co-starring with a young Nicholas Cage. Bell found film success two years later after playing a high school football coach in the horror film, A Nightmare on Elm Street 2: Freddy's Revenge. He also took on a role as a teacher in Rob Reiner's Classic motion picture Stand By Me that same year. The actor made his TV debut in 1987 on NBC's prime-time police drama, Hill Street Blues.
