Biography:
Matthew was born on November 4th, 1969 in Uvalde, Texas. He has a brother, Rooster, and his mother, Kay, is a school teacher. He graduated from Longview High School in 1988, in Texas.
Matthew lived briefly in Australia following high school. He adopted an Australian accent for a while after he moved back to the USA.
Matthew is a member of the Delta Tau Delta International Fraternity. He has dated actresses Ashley Judd and Sandra Bullock. In 1996, he travelled around Peru after filming A Time to Kill. Matthew has also starred in other movies including, How To Lose A Guy In 10 days, The Wedding Planner , Boys On The Side and Fool's Gold.
