Biography: Michael Moore is famous for his humoristic documentaries. He made his first documentary in 1989 called "Roger & Me". It was about his claimed hometown of Flint and the closure of General Motors which resulted in the loss of 30,000 jobs, and how he tried to get an interview with the man behind the closure, Roger Smith. He has made a lot of documentaries after that, and he was also the host for both TV Nation (1994) and The Awful Truth (1999). He also wrote a book in 2002 called "Stupid White Men...and Other Sorry Excuses for the State of the Nation", which reached #1 on the New York Times non-fiction list.
