Nestor Carbonell

Biography: Nestor was born in NYC but his family travelled frequently and actually Spanish was his first language. Carbonell enrolled at Harvard as an English major and first performed as a freshman. After graduating, he embarked on a career in acting and landed small parts on daytime TV and made his primetime debut on an episode of "Law & Order". Nestor was frequently cast as Hispanics or Europeans and continued to make guest appearances on "Melrose Place" and "A Different World" before he became a regular as Gianni, a handsome gigolo, on the ill-fated sitcom "Muscle". Later that year, he made his screen debut in "Love & Happiness", which only played at one theater in LA. Having been a loved comic, he soon landed the role of Luis Rivera, the too cool photographer, supporting Brooke Shields in the NBC sitcom "Suddenly Susan."
