Omar Sharif
Biography: Egyptian born actor who first won acclain in the 1962 epic film Lawrence of Arabia supporting Peter O'Toole. It was his first English language film. Three years later Sharif scored an even bigger smash and became an international star when he played the title role in another epic film-Doctor Zhivago. Though Sharif's subsequent roles rarely approached the level of those two films his work on-screen has been prolific and he remains active to this day. Besides acting, Sharif is also a world class bridge player and an avid gambler.
