Paul Darrow

Biography: Paul Darrow was educated at Haberdashers' Aske's Boys' School in Hertfordshire before studying drama at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts, and has appeared with most of the leading regional companies, most notably the Bristol Old Vic, Britain's oldest working theatre.

Darrow started his television career in "Emergency: Ward 10" as Mr. Verity in 1965. Since then, he has starred in more than 200 tv shows, including: "The Saint" (1967), "Z Cars" (1969, 1973), "The Legend of Robin Hood" (1975), "Hammer House Of Horror" (1980), "Dombey & Son" (1983), "Doctor Who" (1970, 1985), "Cluedo" (1990), "Pie in the Sky" (1996), and "Little Britain" (2004), but Darrow is best known for his role as Kerr Avon in the BBC science fiction series "Blake's 7" (1978-1981). When Gareth Thomas, who played the main character, Blake, left after two seasons, Avon became the leading character of the show.
