Paul Rodriguez

Biography: Paul Rodriguez is a Mexican-American comedian and actor. He was born in Sinaloa in Mexico on 19 January 1955, and later moved with his family to East Los Angeles where he joined the US military. Rodriguez developed his comedy skills while working as a doorman at The Comedy Store. His first jobs were as the warm-up act for live sitcom television audiences. Rodriguez's national break came in a.k.a. Pablo. He later appeared in Trial and Error and Grand Slam. His talk-show El Show de Paul Rodriguez ran for 4 years, bringing him national fame with both English and Spanish speaking audiences. His feature films include Tortilla Soup, Rat Race, and Ali. Rodriguez wrote and directed the film A Million to Juan. His voiceover roles include Crazy Carlito on Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore. Rodriguez has been recognised for his contribution to charity, particularly those supporting Hispanic and children's causes. His son is the professional skateboarder P-Rod.
