Biography: Paula Newsome built a career for herself by acting in small supporting roles in film and television. Her first big screen appearance was in 1992, where she stared as Ellen in Barnet Kellman's Dolly Parton comedy Straight Talk. She made single role appearances on ER, Ally McBeal, and Law & Order. She also guest stared in Judging Amy, Strong Medicine, Any Day Now and Yes Dear. In 2006 she starred in Little Miss Sunshine, and in 2007/2008 she starred in Women's Murder Club.
