Biography: Born in Godalming, Surrey, England, UK, but raised in Rockingham, Perth, Western Australia, Australia, Sam Worthington began his career in acting by supporting his girlfriend in her audition into the National Institute of Dramatic Arts (NIDA). Sam was accepted into the school, but his girlfriend was rejected, thus ending their relationship. Since then, Sam has become a famous Australian actor starring in such Australian films as Macbeth, Bootmen and Somersault. In 2009 he went on to appear in some of the years biggest blockbusters, Terminator Salvation and James Cameron Avatar. He is currently working on many other Hollywood films including the remake of Clash of the Titans, which will be released in March 2010.
