Seth Gilliam

Biography: Graduated from SUNY Purchase and later went on to have a role in Homicide: Life on the Street with fellow graduate Melissa Leo in 1993. He later went on to be cast as Private Sugar Watkins in the 1997 cult-classic film Starship Troopers, however his first big break was on the acclaimed HBO prison drama Oz, appearing as Clayton Hughes in 17 episodes. He is mostly well known for his role as Sgt. Ellis Carver on the Peabody award winning crime drama The Wire.
