Was listed as a potential nominee on the 2004 Razzie Award nominating ballot. He was suggested in the Worst Supporting Actor category as well as Worst Screen Couple with co-star Dakota Fanning in the film The Cat in the Hat (2003). He failed to receive either nomination.
In Raising Helen (2004), his on-screen sister was played by his real-life sister, Abigail Breslin.
