Stan Lane

Biography: Stan Lane is a professional wrestler whom began his career in the early seventies as part of the promotion Florida Championship Wrestling. He is primarily known for shining as a tag-team wrestler.
The first duo he took part of was in accommodation of Steve Keirn, forming as "The Fabulous Ones". The two got their start in Mid-Southern Wrestling sometime during 1982, however they split up in '87 when Lane left the company for Jim Crockett Promotions, becoming a member of "The Midnight Express" in substitution of Dennis Condrey. The tandem would go on achieving success, winning the United States Tag Team Titles a total of three times and even the NWA World Tag Team Championship on one occasion. In 1990 Jim Crockett Promotions was acquired by Ted Turner (in what would soon emerge as World Championship Wrestling) and Lane abruptly departed. At this time "The Fabulous Ones" would come to reform in promotion United States Wrestling Association, but only for a limited time before

Shortly after USWA, Lane joined up with Smoky Mountain Wrestling and established and new tag-team with Tom Prichard known as "The Heavenly Bodies". The team would prove to be a winning combination, going on to occupy the role of tag-team champions five times.

Lane would retire from active in-ring competition in 1993, but however went on to become a part of the WWF broadcast team. First working at the side of Vince McMahon on show "WWF Superstars". But ultimately his time at the announcing position was short-lived at most.

Lane returned of to the ring in 2004, and as of 2006 is still working events.
