Teo Olivares

Biography: Born in Medford, Oregon but raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico, 14 year old Teo found his gift and passion for performing at the tender age of 7, when he joined the Albuquerque Boy Choir. After landing leading roles in local theatre, he was awarded the opportunity to follow his dreams to Hollywood at age 12, with a scholarship from Diane Hardin's Young Actors Space. He has also been a student of the Michael Chekhov Foundation studying under Lisa Dalton.
Teo plays the part of "Luigi" in a nationally aired Nintendo Commercial and appears with Cal Ripken, Jr. and Jack and Kelly Osborne in a national commercial for Radio Shack. He just finished taping a national State Farm commercial which began airing during the World Series.
He was cast as a series regular in the television pilot, "Last Chance", playing "Gino Butts" aka "Crank", a brilliant psychotic teenage resident of a group home where kids are given the chance to turn their lives around Teo landed the part of

Teo landed the part of "Crony" on the new Nickelodeon series "Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide", which premiered this fall, and airs Sunday's on Nickelodeon, check for local listings. Executive Producer, Scott Fellows, said Teo was exactly what he had in mind to develop the character of this bully side kick who is really just a nice kid hanging out with the wrong crowd, into a ten-episode recurring role!
He has guest starred on the CBS primetime comedy "Still Standing", starring Mark Addy and Jami Gertz. He also guest stars on an episode of the new Nickelodeon show "Zoey 101", starring Jamie Lynn Spears, which premieres in 2005.

Teo stars in the independent film, "Frenching", a coming of age story, the directorial debut of Kellie Martin, as Robby, a young adolescent boy who experiences the innocence of a first kiss at summer camp. (Sundance and Tribeca Film Festival entrant.)

Teo has studied classical guitar as well as piano and drums and is a true music lover. He is an avid skateboarder and enjoys skiing, snowboarding and surfing. He practices Dahn Hak Yoga, a form of energy healing, and has attended the Young Earth Human Alliance conference in Sedona, AZ as a diplomat for world peace.
