The Fray

Biography: The Denver based alternative rock band The Fray was formed by Isaac Slade and Joe King and when the two former school friends met up again in a local music store. They soon began a two man-jam sessions that lead to writing songs. Rounding out the lineup with two former bandmates of Slade's Ben Wysocki and Dave Welsh. The Fray began playing in the Denver area. Their popularity grow quickily and their first demo recordings became local radio favs and the band was voted Best New Band by Westwood Magazine. That all lead to being signed by Epic Records in 2004. Their debut album was released in September 2005. They have had three singles from their album How To Save A Life and they are Over My Head (Cable Car), How To Save A Life, and Look After You. The Fray has alredy started recording their second album and will start to tour as soon as they can. The Fray continued to have success with their sophomore album debuting at # 1 and selling 175,000 copies in its first week.
