Tia Dionne Hodge

Biography: TIA DIONNE HODGE is an Actress, Writer, Producer and Director. She received her MA and BA in English from Case Western Reserve University, and was the first recipient of the Louise Kent-Hope Award for Excellence in Poetry and Creative Writing from the Adrienne Kennedy Society. She is a former National Poetry Slam champion, and her essay, Letter to Granma Gladys was published in the anthology Black Comedy:9 Plays. Her second short film—Once Upon A Once Upon—was First Runner-up at the 2002 inaugural NYC Midnight Movie Madness Filmmaking Competition; an honor she shares with the cast and crew of her production company, Fulton Street Films, LLC. Tia is a member of the New Jersey Dramatists, the Dramatists Guild of America, SAG, AFTRA and AEA.
